BYE BYE JERRY

I know its been a few days now since Mr. Angelo has left Halas Hall and thank the lord for that. This guy has been around for way to long his firing was overdue and everyone should be happy he's gone.

I don't mean to bash on Jerry he seems like a nice guy but the only position(s) that he can see talent in is in the defensive line and I don't know if he knows but there are about 18 other positions on the team. He also likes to draft injured first round draft picks that end up having surgery and missing their entire first season. Not only does he like to draft injured players he likes to trade for guys that are going to die! Now that might have been a little mean, sorry Gaines Adams, but he wasn't even worth giving up a second round draft pick for.

I will have to say that there is only one good thing Jerry did and that was bringing Jay Cutler to Da Bears!!! The only question I have to ask about the whole Jerry Angelo firing was why didn't Lovie Smith get fired as well? And why is Lovie going to be part of the interviewing process for a new GM, isn't the GM Lovie's boss?

Although I'm very happy Jerry is gone there are some major questions that need to be asked about how this front office is operating.

  1. I agree with most of what you said about angelo. I do not agree about Smith though. There are lots of reason why I would keep Smith. I would throw Angelo a bone by bring Peppers

  3. I wasn't saying that Lovie should have been fired I just believe the question should be asked. Lovie is a great coach don't get me wrong but he brought some people to this team that weren't so good like Adam Archuleta and Mike Martz.

And why I didn't mention Jerry bringing in Peppers is because I don't believe he did. I believe that Lovie did, the second Peppers was a free agent Lovie was in Peppers home town and they met. Then the next thing you know Peppers is in Chicago signing with Da Bears.

I like Lovie a lot but I think the Ted Philliphs and the Mccaskey's are giving him way to much power. No one should be interviewing for their own boss.
